Stewart EFI’s facility in Thomaston, Connecticut, U.S.A. and its proximity to several major air and ocean ports as well as literally adjacent to major inter-state highways are well suited to facilitate transportation to our customers facilities in the Americas as well as Europe. In addition when our customer requires that their products be produced in Low Cost Countries and Emerging Markets, Stewart has the facilities to serve them. Our El Paso, Texas manufacturing and new plating & finishing facilities remain local to our customers with facilities in Mexico and neighboring Central America and our Joint Venture in HangZhou, PR China is available to supply product to China, India the other Asian countries. China Joint Venture Facilities Strategic Manufacturing Locations With Stewart EFI’s three manufacturing locations totaling more than 440,000 square feet (41,400 square meters) and a joint venture facility in China we are well situated to serve the global needs of our customers. The 80,000+ square feet (7,400+ square meters) facilities in Thomaston, Connecticut house our headquarters and manufacturing of an extensive array of deep drawn, transfer and progressive components as well as value added assemblies. In this facility we also design and build the deep draw tooling for the company. Thomaston, Connecticut Serving our customers with locations in Mexico and the Southwest is our 72,000 square foot (6,700 square meter) El Paso, Texas manufacturing facility. Out of this location we supply progressive, deep drawn, slide formed and hydro formed components and assemblies. El Paso, Texas   To further support our customers, Stewart EFI Finishing, LLC now offers high quality barrel and rack plating and metal finishing directly to our Mexican and Southwestern US customers, as well as our local manufacturing operation.  Only "blocks" from our stamping plant, this stand alone finishing facility encompasses 44,000 square feet (4,100 square meters).   El Paso, Texas    Hangzhou, P.R. China. Supplying our customers with Asian requirements for deep drawn metal components and welded or staked wire assemblies is our joint venture, Interplex Stewart EFI (HZ) Co. Ltd. located in Hangzhou, P.R. China. Equipment Stewart EFI possesses a vast arsenal of machinery and equipment to meet all our customer’s needs: 60+ Deep Draw US Baird and other Transfer Presses - US Baird ranging from 2-size to 5-size 120+ High Speed Stamping Presses - Minster, Bruderer, Danly, Komatsu, Raster and others ranging from 15 to 200 Ton 40+ Slide Forming Machines - US Baird, Bihler, Finzer, Nilson, Sleeper Hartley and Torin 100+ Custom designed Automated Assembly Machines 30+ Custom designed Wire Forming Machines Fully staffed and equipped On-site Preventative Maintenance to dramatically reduce downtime and rebuild our equipment to keep them up to date. Fully equipped tool rooms including CNC and EDM equipment. Quality inspection, material and plating test equipment including a complete metallurgical lab, automated SPC data collection systems, CMM and XRF analysis.
