 Stewart EFI ranks among the largest international suppliers of precision, deep drawn, progressive die and slide-formed metal stamped components, wire forms, as well as automated and secondary assemblies, plating and metal finishing. Founded in New York City in 1936, the company is well positioned to satisfy the demand for precision metal stamped components and assemblies from both domestic and overseas OEMs in a wide variety of markets. In 1999, Eyelets for Industry, Inc. (known as EFI), joined forces with Stewart Stamping Corporation to form the basis of present day Stewart EFI. Combining EFI's extensive expertise in deep drawn transfer press and progressive die stamping with Stewart Stamping capabilities now provides the marketplace with the broad range of options.
 Engineering and Technical Support
We work closely with customers to design parts that will simplify the manufacturing process, deliver cost-efficient price/performance and actually improve product quality. We design, build, produce, and maintain all of our in-house deep drawn, progressive and slide-form tooling and assembly equipment with an experienced staff of over 40 tool and die makers. Dedicated to satisfying customer requirements, our engineers, technicians and designers produce over 10 billion parts per year. They work with tolerances as precise as 0.0005" (0.013 mm) and with materials ranging from stainless steels and Copper alloys to more exotic materials such as Inconel and Beryllium Copper. > Learn More
Quality and Lean Manufacturing
To ensure total product quality and reduce variation, the overriding company objective is to make each product right from the start. To meet this goal, we utilize complete advanced quality planning techniques and extensive SPC techniques. We also develop our own variable gauges to support the company's SPC program. By practicing on-going lean manufacturing, 5S and quantitative cross-functional goal setting/results measurement programs and by working closely with quality-driven vendors, we ensure that our quality, cost, delivery and service levels continue to improve.  Strategic Manufacturing Locations
With Stewart EFI’s three manufacturing locations totaling more than 440,000 square feet (41,400 square meters) and a Joint Venture facility in Asia we are well situated to serve the global needs of our customers. At our facilities in Thomaston, Connecticut and Yonkers, New York in addition to extensive manufacturing capabilities, we design and build all of our tools and dies as well as much of our automated equipment.
Our manufacturing facility in El Paso, Texas, established in 1994, serves the needs of our customers with facilities in Mexico and the Southwest.
Stewart EFI Finishing, LLC also located in El Paso, TX, established in 2008, through acquisition of the Texas operation of P&J Industries provides both high quality barrel and rack plating as well as metal finishing services. > Learn More
In 2004 Stewart EFI joined forces with Interplex Industries Inc. to establish a Joint Venture called Interplex Stewart EFI (HZ) Co. Ltd. to manufacture deep drawn metal components and staked and welded wire assemblies in Hangzhou, China.
